Sweat AI is an AI-native BPO for banks and fintechs, starting with back-office workflows like KYB, onboarding and fraud reviews. Every case, whether a KYB application or a fraud or monitoring alert, moves through the same five steps, and the last one is always yours.
1. Intake
Cases reach us the way your team already works: from your case management tool, a shared queue or our workspace. Each case arrives with what you already have: the application or alert, documents the applicant supplied, results from your automated checks, and the product or program it relates to.
We confirm that the case is in scope and which policy applies, then it enters our queue. Cases are worked 24/7, so what you hand over in the evening is worked overnight (24/7 coverage).
2. AI-assisted investigation
An analyst works the case with AI tools. The tools do the gathering: registry records, ownership filings, sanctions lists, the applicant's website, public reporting, and the documents you supplied. They draft the ownership chain, the timeline or the first version of the findings.
The analyst directs the work and judges it. They decide what the case needs under your policy, resolve conflicting records, test the applicant's claims against the evidence and decide what is still missing. Every source read is captured with the time it was read, so the basis for each statement can be shown later.
3. Analyst review and quality checks
Before a case goes back to you, it is checked against its own evidence:
- Every finding must trace to a captured source, or be listed as a gap.
- Allegations are kept apart from findings, and resolved name matches show what ruled them out.
- The recommendation must fit the findings: a case with outstanding checks cannot carry a plain approval.
- The case must follow your policy and escalation rules.
We agree with you which cases get a second review by another analyst, for example those above a risk level or in a product line you care most about.
4. Evidence packet
You receive a packet with the findings, each tied to its source excerpt, capture time and limitation; the gaps; a recommended disposition with its reason; and one consolidated list of anything still needed from the applicant, with why each item is needed and what would satisfy it. See the illustrative sample KYB review for the full format.
5. Your decision
Your team reads the packet and decides: approve, decline, request documents or escalate. We do not approve, decline, onboard or terminate anyone; every decision and every adverse action stays with you (Terms). When the applicant answers a request, the case comes back to us and the same packet is completed.
Exceptions and escalation
Some cases should not wait for the morning. During onboarding you tell us what counts as urgent or high risk: a likely sanctions match, signs of altered documents, an account takeover in progress, an owner your policy requires senior review for. When one comes up, we contact your named escalation contact straight away, by the channel you choose, with the evidence gathered so far. We keep working the rest of the queue.
Cases that fall outside your written policy are flagged, never decided by us. If the same kind of exception keeps recurring, we tell you, so you can decide whether the policy needs a rule for it.
What we need from you to start
- Your policy. KYB or alert-handling procedures, risk appetite, ownership thresholds, and any partner-bank or provider requirements that apply.
- Scope. Which products, programs and case types come to us, and roughly how many a week.
- Access. How cases reach us and what we can see. We ask only for what the work needs.
- Escalation contacts. Who we call for urgent cases, how, and at what hours.
- Templates. Your case-note or write-up format, if you have one, so our output drops into your system as is.
- A first batch. Real cases, so you can judge the packets on applications you know before sending more.
Pricing depends on volume, case mix and coverage. Talk to us and we will walk through it for your queue.
Questions
How long does it take to get started?
It depends on how cases will reach us and what access your security team needs to approve. We start with a first batch of real applications as soon as scope, access and escalation contacts are agreed.
Do you need access to our systems?
Only what the work needs. Cases can reach us through your case management tool, a shared queue or our workspace. We agree the access with your team, and revoking it from your side stops ours.
Who checks the analyst's work?
Each review is checked against its evidence before it is returned: every statement must trace to a source or be listed as a gap. We agree with you which cases get a second review, for example high-risk ones.
